Three people were injured late Tuesday when a UPS truck collided with a car on Elkton Road, just over the Maryland state line.
Dense fog had limited visibility to near zero at the time of the crash.
The accident happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection with Spectacle Court in Elkton.
Police at the scene said the initial investigation displayed that the driver of the UPS truck was attempting to turn left onto southbound Elkton Road from Spectacle Court, near 7-11 gas station and the Spectacle Food Group trucking plaza.
The truck turned in front of a car headed north on Elkton Road, and the car struck the rear of the truck.
The car flipped over and came to rest on the driver’s side.
Three people were taken by ambulance to local hospitals.
